About BodyTech

We built BodyTech for the people who feel overlooked.

The ones stuck between "not injured enough for PT" and "not fully well".

The athletes trying to stay in the ring.

The high-performers holding everything together.

The women whose pain keeps getting dismissed.

The everyday movers trying to feel strong again.

BodyTech exists because recovery needed a new language — one that blends therapeutic care, strategy, and the science of how real people heal.

This is the team behind that mission.

Mission:

Recovery That Prevents Recurrence

BodyTech is a premium recovery studio specializing in integrated therapeutic care and progressive movement rehabilitation.

We serve high-performers, post-operative clients, athletes, and anyone seeking expert-level recovery from pain, injury, or physical breakdown.

Philosophy:

Recovery Is Prevention

Most people treat pain when it shows up — then return to the same patterns that caused it.

We believe true recovery requires addressing the root cause and rebuilding the system that broke down.

That's why every client begins with comprehensive therapeutic treatment and continues with the R3 Recovery Method™ --- a complete pathway from pain relief to long-term strength and resilience.

We don’t rush clients back into activity. We rebuild the system that supports it

Who We Serve

Post-operative clients (plastic surgery, orthopedic, injury recovery)

Athletes and high-performers managing chronic breakdown

Active individuals dealing with recurring pain or mobility limitations

Anyone who wants to feel safe, strong, and capable in their body again

Meet the Team

Katherine “Kat” Boger

Founder & Therapeutic Recovery Specialist

Kat didn't set out to build a recovery studio.

She set out to build the place she needed but couldn't find.

Before BodyTech, Kat worked in disease prevention, community health, and education — translating complex science into actions people could actually use. But her real education happened in her own body: through stress, trauma, reinvention, and the slow work of rebuilding strength after experiences that take more than muscles to recover from.

Her search for answers led her into medical massage, lymphatic therapy, trauma-informed movement, and the messy, human side of healing that most clinics don't talk about. What she saw again and again was that people werent failing at recovery — recovery was failing them. Too rushed. Too siloed. Too focused on symptoms and not enough on the person living inside

the body.

That's when BodyTech was born.

Kat created The R3 Recovery Method™ — a framework that blends therapeutic bodywork, hormone-informed strategy, mobility restoration, and capacity-building. Her approach has become a trusted bridge for surgeons, athletes, executives, weekend warriors, and anyone trying to get out of pain and back into their life.

Whether she's treating a fighter, a CEO, or someone who hasn't felt safe in their body in years, her philosophy stays the same: Your body isn't broken. It's communicating. We just have to learn the language.

Pedro Alvarado

Lead Movement Coach & R3 Recovery Specialist

Pedro's story starts on the court—basketball, volleyball, anything that involved movement, teamwork, and pushing limits. But like most athletes, he learned early what it feels like when your body stops cooperating. Injuries came with questions no one really answered: Why does this hurt? Will it happen again? What am I doing wrong?

His curiosity became obsession. He studied biomechanics, strength conditioning, corrective

strategy, and how the nervous system adapts under stress. What he discovered changed the trajectory of his career:

Most people aren't weak—they're unsupported.

Most people aren't "bad movers" — they've never been taught how to move well.

At BodyTech, Pedro leads the Restore + Rebuild phases of The R3 Recovery Method™. He's the guide who helps clients transition from pain into strength, from hesitation into confidence, from "I'm afraid to move" into "I can't believe I just did that."

His coaching style is calm, patient, and precise — the kind of presence that makes people feel safe enough to try again. Whether he's training seniors in SecondWind, rebuilding mechanics after surgery, or coaching an athlete back to peak performance, Pedro's mission is simple: Help people trust their body again — and then build the strength to keep that trust.

Founders' Note

We built BodyTech on purpose — not by accident.

We've seen what happens when people get rushed through healing, when they're told to "just rest," when no one explains what their body is trying to say.

We believe recovery should be strategic.

We believe education is dignity.

We believe strength is built over time, not when a therapist says you're "cleared".

We believe in the comeback — at every age, in every body, and under any circumstance.

And we're here to walk that path with you.
