FAQ's

Can I choose which services I receive?

You’re welcome to share preferences, but all services are applied strategically based on assessment findings and recovery goals.

Do I need an initial recovery session to get started?

If you’re new to BodyTech, yes. Every new client begins with an Initial Recovery Session so we can assess tissue health, movement patterns, recovery capacity, and determine the right path forward.

If you’re a returning or established client, you’re welcome to book ongoing recovery sessions directly.

I’ve worked with BodyTech before — can I book without starting over?

Yes. Returning clients can book Ongoing Recovery Sessions without repeating an initial visit, unless a reassessment is recommended based on time away, surgery, or a major change in symptoms.

Do you work with athletes and active individuals?

Absolutely. We work with recreational and competitive athletes, fitness professionals, and highly active individuals who want to recover smarter, reduce setbacks, and build long-term capacity.

Our approach focuses on recovery as a performance strategy — not just symptom relief.

Is BodyTech only for people in pain or recovering from injury?

No. While many clients come to us because of pain or injury, others work with us to manage training load, reduce inflammation, improve recovery, and prevent breakdown before it happens.

Do you work with women in perimenopause or menopause?

Yes. We regularly support women navigating hormone-related changes such as joint pain, stiffness, swelling, fatigue, slower recovery, and changes in training tolerance.

Our care takes into account how hormonal shifts affect recovery, inflammation, and tissue response — especially during midlife transitions.

Can lymphatic drainage help if I’m not post-surgery?

Yes. Lymphatic drainage is commonly used for post-operative recovery, but it’s also helpful for chronic inflammation, hormone-related fluid retention, stress overload, and slow recovery between workouts or busy periods.

Can I request specific services or modalities?

You’re welcome to share preferences. However, all therapeutic services are applied strategically based on assessment findings, recovery goals, and what your body needs most at that time.

This ensures care stays effective and personalized.

Do your services replace physical therapy or strength training?

No. Therapeutic services support recovery and readiness. Strength and capacity are built through progressive movement and training when appropriate.

Our role is to prepare your body to move and train more effectively — not replace those processes.

How do I know if I need recovery work or coaching?

That’s determined during your initial session. Some clients benefit from ongoing therapeutic support, others progress into R3 Recovery Coaching, and many use a combination over time.

We guide that decision so you don’t have to guess.

What makes BodyTech different from a massage studio or gym?

BodyTech is a recovery-first practice built around assessment, strategy, and progression. We don’t offer one-size-fits-all services or generic programs.

Everything we do supports the larger goal of restoring function, building capacity, and preventing recurrence.

Still unsure where to start?

The Initial Recovery Session is designed to answer these questions and map the right next step for your body.
